A practical result

The translation must fit
a real document

Text almost always changes length in another language. Simply replacing text boxes breaks tables, wrapping and numbering. Our designer rebuilds the layout where necessary and keeps the document easy to read. If exact reproduction compromises meaning, we present a solution before final assembly.

01 / STRUCTURE

Tables and multilevel lists

Document logic, heading styles, numbering and cross-references are preserved.

02 / GRAPHICS

Diagrams and captions

Text inside charts, callouts and images is replaced without obscuring important detail.

03 / DELIVERY

Editable source

We deliver the working source file and a PDF where both are included in the brief.

What we do

From a simple certificate
to a complete manual

Format a translation to match the original

We reproduce the grid, styles, tables, headers, footers and numbering in an editable file.

Convert a scan or PDF into an editable format

Text is recognised, tables are rebuilt and unclear elements are reconstructed by hand.

Create a two-column bilingual layout

Source and translation sit side by side, with paragraphs, tables and captions kept in sync.

Set up automatic contents and numbering

We configure heading styles, list levels, page numbers and an updateable contents page.

Build working internal and external links

We test internal jumps, website addresses, link labels and document bookmarks.

Format presentations, manuals, catalogues and drawings

The working format is chosen to fit translation into slides, page layouts, diagrams or drawings.

Formats

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign, PDF and AutoCAD

If you still have the source file, send it with the PDF. This speeds up the work and reduces cost. Where only a scan exists, we assess recognition quality and identify the elements that need to be rebuilt manually.

For recurring material, we can create a template so future editions are faster to assemble and remain visually consistent.

Process

A controlled layout
with no surprises

01 / AUDIT

We inspect the files

The format, fonts, table complexity, graphics and scan quality are reviewed.

02 / SAMPLE

We agree a page

For complex projects, a sample is prepared to fix the formatting approach.

03 / BUILD

We format the document

Translation, styles, captions, contents and links are carefully assembled.

04 / CONTROL

We check the output

Block order, numbering, line breaks and finished-file opening are verified.

Before formatting

Questions about your files

Which applications do you work with?

We work with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign, PDF and AutoCAD files. The final format is agreed before work begins so it can be edited or sent straight to print.

Can the translation look like the original?

Yes. We recreate tables, diagrams, headers, footnotes and numbering. Exact matching is not always possible because text length varies, so readability and a stable layout take priority.

Can you repair contents pages and links?

We can configure automatic contents, numbering and internal links. If a source link is broken, we flag it and replace it only after approval.

How much does formatting cost?

Basic formatting starts at RUB 350 per page. The final price depends on the format, number of tables and diagrams, scan quality and editable-file requirements.
